[REPOST] Ambe - Reste La; Boy that ya story no add up
Ambe just released his third single and third video for the year, the first being ‘Na For Bafut (Bonne Année)’ produced and co- written by Alpha Better Records frontman Salatiel. The production of Bonne Année was sponsored by Gumption Music group (Mr. Ngwa Fube) in collaboration with The Pacemakers ( Dr. Ngongalah SuhFube Stephane) and was produced to be the theme song for the infamous Dec 31,2016 concert in Bafut. He followed up with ‘Pour Toi’ which performed poorly compared to all of his past releases.
Yesterday, Ambe presented us with the visuals for ‘Reste La’ which also happens to be the first product release under his new management, Red Eye Group. Reste La is produced by Blaise B, also of Alpha Better.
Blaise B, chose one name already. For beginning of song na Blaise B on the beat, song want end na Akwandor. By the way, looks like all artists with the nkap seem to be heading over to Salatiel’s hit factory to cop the juice. Ontop weh Salatiel dan rap too now so, sotay pascal beg feature. Show sey work really Dey.
Any-ha!
‘Reste La’ is what I would term lounge music, slow tempo, sonically soothing that you can have it looped in your ears for hours before realizing you have been listening to the same song.
NS pictures was on call for the video and pulled up with nothing fresh in terms of setting and storyline but the girl who got the solo vixen job on this one is definitely wanted in many peoples beds right now. Somebody somewhere, as you read this, has that video on pause at 0:38 seconds. Don’t get excited until you see handwriting for slay queen around 1:58 seconds.
But I sey hein Ambe, na restaurant work you work sotay buy sport bike and that kind cabin? Lie no sweet, that ya story no add up.
Thumbs up for consistency though. It’s amazing how many videos this guy has compared to other more popular artists. Business must be good.
Enough with the music.
Watch out for the ‘Reste la X Culture’ post coming your way as soon as I correct my grammar; like you care enough. Link to video in comments section.
