The entire world is trying to get guys to delay their orgasm. The desire to delay orgasm has given birth to numerous myths and facts. On the menu, today, is bitter kola and alcohol, especially Guinness. Can this combination delay ejaculation?
ALCOHOL
Having a few drinks before sex is a trick used by most guys, especially guys with premature ejaculation, to help themselves last longer.
Alcohol is a central nervous system depressant. In other words, alcohol slows down central nervous system activities, including brain activity that is needed to achieve orgasm. In a nutshell, alcohol can be used to delay ejaculation.
One caveat: while alcohol consumption can delay ejaculation, it cannot guarantee an erection -- it can lead to limp penis. The thing is, erection and ejaculation are often activated through similar pathways. Alcohol consumption, therefore, might delay or prevent both.
BITTER KOLA
Garcinia kola, commonly called bitter kola, is believed to delay ejaculation. What's more, some Cameroonians, particularly men, believe that bitter kola can treat premature ejaculation.
Scientifically, it has been proven that bitter kola is a potent aphrodisiac. That is, it increases a person's sex drive and can encourage a penile erection. The process through which this occurs is yet to be fully understood.
The thing is, an increased sex drive or libido doesn't translate into delayed orgasm or ejaculation. So far, no data exist to refute or confirm that bitter kola delays ejaculation or that it can be used to treat premature ejaculation. So, one can only depend on 'I hear say.' The problem is that the number of people one 'hear say' from is below the threshold for an educated guess. What's more, one can't pick out lies with 'I hear say,' which makes it very difficult for one to make an educated guess.
CONCLUSION
One can confidently argue that alcohol can delay ejaculation. However, one need not spend much time on the well-worn but inconclusive arguments on whether bitter kola delays orgasm or not.
Nevertheless, it is wise to conclude that, taken simultaneously, bitter kola and alcohol could help a man last longer in bed.
